description

The Visitor Centre is situated at Bodnant Welsh Food, off the A470 in the Conwy Valley.

The visitor centre offers an exciting and fascinating insight into the world of bees and beekeeping. Visitors can:

Visit demonstration hives in our apiary to see bees and beekeepers at work (April - September)
Watch hives and bees through our live broadcast webcam
Learn more about bees and beekeeping in the interactive visitor centre
Buy honey, hive products and bee-related items from our shop
Book courses or attend one of our events.

We are just 10 minutes from the A55 and just a few minutes more from Llandudno Junction railway station and the national rail network. Bodnant Welsh Food offers a range of attractions, so why not spend a day there? Visit the Bodnant Welsh Food website.

In Capel Curig, near Betws y Coed, one of Snowdonia's most beautiful villages, visitors can explore a bee-friendly garden and learn more about bees and their habitats.

The Snowdonia Society has teamed up with the National Beekeeping Centre Wales and developed Tŷ Hyll (The Ugly House) as a visitor centre, bee garden and tearoom. Here visitors can find out all about the Welsh honeybee.
