Ffestiniog Railway | View Attraction Details
description
The Ffestiniog Railway was founded to carry slate to Porthmadog from the quarries at Blaenau Ffestiniog. Now the little steam trains carry visitors through the
stunning scenery of the Snowdonia National Park. A return trip takes around 3 hours and shorter journeys to the halfway station are also available. A rover ticket gives you the opportunity to make the most of your day. The Ffestiniog Railway will soon be linked with the Welsh Highland Railway which runs from Caernarfon.
