Shearwater Coastal Cruises | View Attraction Details
description
"Shearwater" is a luxury charter motor catamaran cruiser, based in Pwllheli Marina. We cruise the coast and offshore islands of the Llyn Peninsula, visiting seal and seabird colonies of the area. We are usually met by the local dolphins when we carry out a Photo-ID programme for the "Seawatch Foundation", an organisation entrusted with monitoring dolphins and other cetaceans in UK waters.
"Shearwater" is a large, modern, stable boat with plenty of seating and room to walk around. Should we have a shower of rain at sea, there is room inside for everyone in the spacious cabin. It has a stern-platform to enable people to walk straight on to the boat through the stern-gates without stepping over anything allowing ready access for wheelchairs. There is a flush toilet on board, accessible from the deck and we provide a complimentary cup of tea/coffee on every cruise.
