How do I find Talyllyn Railway?
Tywyn is on the A493 road from Machynlleth to Dolgellau. Approaching from Aberdyfi on the main road Wharf Station is on the left. Coming from Dolgellau, drive through the town centre to the National Railways station, turn left and Wharf station is on the right 300 yards further on. The car park is across the bridge over the main line. In addition, the B4405 from Bryncrug to Minffordd on the A487 follows the railway up the Fathew valley - Dolgoch and Abergynolwyn stations are signposted.
