South Stack Lighthouse Named as one of the Top 3 Photography Spots in the UK

One of North Wales' most spectacular lighthouses, South Stack Lighthouse, has been named one of the 'Top 3' photography spots in the UK by coach tour operator National Holidays.

With so many beautiful locations in the UK which make for ideal photography spots, the competition was stiff however National Holidays were swayed by the unique wildlife photography opportunities at South Stack Lighthouse. As an RSPB reserve, great birds such as Puffins, Razorbills and Guillemots can be seen at South Stack Cliff's giving keen photographers (and amateurs alike) a unique opportunity to capture these birds in their natural habitat. Along with the brilliant wildlife, South Stack is a place of devastating, untapped beauty which has to be seen to be appreciated and the cliffs offer fantastic geological opportunities. On top of all this, in the spring and summer the heath land becomes a place of fantastic colour perfect for capturing on camera and, if out at sea, you may be able to spot dolphins or porpoises if you look carefully enough.

National Holidays are keen to get their customers capturing the beauty of our country and the announcement of South Stack Lighthouse being named as one of the 'Top 3 Photography Spots' in the UK has come as part of a piece on their website giving readers tips and tricks for how to improve their travel photography.
