St David's Day Celebrations
Taste the wonder of North Wales Borderlands at our Welsh market and the famous Wrexham sausage competition, plus witness the parade to celebrate Saint David.
On Saturday, February 28th there will be a Welsh market in Queen's Square, Wrexham town centre, featuring lots of locally produced food and drink, plus the final of the famous (at least its famous in these parts!) Wrexham Sausage Competition, where the town's finest butchers will battle it out for the prestigious title of Wrexham's champion sausage! The market will be open from 10am to 4pm (judging times for the sausage competition to be confirmed).
On Sunday, March 1st there will be a parade through Wrexham town centre to mark St David's Day. The parade will take place in the morning (time and route to be confirmed).
