Snowdon Summit Cafe now open

The new Snowdon Summit Cafe is now open. The 3,560ft-high visitor centreis the UK's highest.

Being the highest mountain in Wales and having access by train, the summit of Snowdon is popular destination for tourists, walkers and climbers. Over half a million people make their way by train or foot to the top of Snowdon every year.

Costing over £8 million to re-build, the visitor centre named 'Hafod Eryri' houses a cafe, shop and education centre with weather resistant glass windows for dramatic landscape views.
