Don't miss Santa's visit to Chirk Castle!
On Saturday, December 5th and Sunday December 6th, and Saturday December 12th and Sunday, December 13th, Chirk Castle will be opening its doors for this years Country Castle Christmas event.
This year, Chirk Castle's event has made it into the National Trust's list of top 10 Christmas venues. As well as seeing the beautifully decorated state rooms, visitors will be able to browse amongst craft stalls and join in family activities such as making decorations.
A visit to Father Christmas's Woodland Grotto is a must for young children, and don't forget to see where all the toys are made in the elves' work shop.
The castle's National Trust gift shop will also be open for more Christmas shopping, along with the farm shop, selling locally sourced, seasonal produce.
Refreshments will be available, so why not toast the festive season with some mulled wine and roasted chestnuts.
Chirk Castle's Country Castle Christmas event will run from 11am to 5pm on each of the above dates.
Admission costs: £6.50 for Adults and £3.25 for Children. National Trust members free.
Christmas grotto costs: £2 per child, including National Trust members.
