Corris Craft Centre Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Corris Craft Centre and Y Crochan café, new Café Manager Natalia Mascaro has sourced quality Welsh ingredients to create a new menu to be launched on 31st March.
Natalia took up her position as Café Manager at Y Crochan last Autumn and has spent the winter months developing brand new dishes, cakes, biscuits and much more by way of celebrating the special Anniversary year.
Natalia said "we're very lucky to have such exceptional food and drink produced here in Mid Wales. Our new menu uses lots of delicious local ingredients, many of which have won a coveted True Taste award. The new menu will include monthly specials using fresh seasonal ingredients."
Councillor John Pughe Roberts had the opportunity to sample the new menu when he attended the launch of the Show Me Wales App at Corris Craft Centre during Wales Tourism Week. He said "the Corris Craft Centre is an outstanding example of local craft talent. We're very fortunate to have had the Craft Centre here for the last 30 years. The designer-makers create a diverse range of products using different and often locally sourced materials. It's only right that Y Crochan should follow suit and what Natalia has created is not only delicious but a credit to the hard working and dedicated food and drink producers here in Mid Wales."
The new cafe menu will be launched at Y Crochan on Saturday 31st March. For more information telephone 01654 761437.
